A Production Designer is required to work for an award winning international provider of Ergonomic Workstation solutions. You will be based in London but the role will require the occasional off-site visit to contractors and/or suppliers when necessary. Your main duties will include production of engineering drawings and supporting the design group in the development of new products, so you will need to have strong CAD skills. You will be analysing prototypes and produce test methods for products in manufacture, and restructuring/redrawing designs before release to suppliers. You will be ensuring that the latest design data issued to suppliers for tooling or manufacture is controlled via ECN. You should have demonstrated experience in design for dies casting, injection moulding and sheet metal coupled with a strong engineering design based degree.
